Today I added a new Laptop Sleeve to my Etsy Shop: the Dutch Delft Blue Sleeve. Just like the Tanzanian Pink Sleeve I can make it into any size you like. From now on my sleeves are also available for an iPad!

BIRTHDAY DINNER
This weekend I celebrated my birthday with my
friends and family with a big homemade Indian dinner! I had been cooking curries,
snacks and soup for two days. I love to cook and share my meals with friends
and family. Cooking is such a nice and relaxing process, I can put all my troubles
aside and totally focus on creating great tastes. Since the curry scent was all
over me I quickly took a shower before the guests arrived.

A FLOWERY WEEK
I got a bouquet of roses a couple of days ago. Unfortunately
they started to die early. I would love to have the happy colourful flowers
around a bit longer. So I cut the stalks short and I picked the dead flower
leaves. I put the roses in these little cute glass jars (which used to contain
organic yoghurt, yummy!) The flowers looked alive and coloured my room
once again!

WELCOME!
Hee! And Welcome to my first
blogpost.
Finally after some time and
effort I was able to open my very own Etsy-shop: JulieHornix. Now it’s just a
small shop with my first listing, the Tanzanian Pink Batik Laptop Sleeve. But it will
continue to grow with more designs of laptop sleeves and probably other stuff!
I hope you like it, I will keep you posted.
I will also show and tell about my daily experiences. When I am not busy with Etsy or finishing my Master degree in Industrial Design I like to cook for friends, sew other things or go on little trips to explore the world!
