GREENHOUSE

The bulbs have sprouted.

Although there are still some cold days ahead, spring's slowly starting to begin. The flower bulbs that I planted last fall sprouted already. Hopefully they will get some nice flowers as well!

Yesterday I bought the SOCKER greenhouse from IKEA. I installed it on my windowsill the minute I got home. It has four occupants at the moment: Oregano, Basil, Parsley and Lovage. Enjoy your last hours of the weekend!

BRING IN THE GREEN

Now that Autumn has come and the days are getting colder I've decided to bring a part of my Mint and Basil plant inside. Since most of the Mint plant already died, I took the best leaves and put it in a small jar with water to have the Mint grow roots again. As you can see this worked out well! The Basil still dirty from outside got a nice place as well.

After a week I put the Mint plant also in a pot, now its roots are nested in the soil. Together the Mint and Basil live in my windowsill now.

Furthermore I planted some Anemone De Caen and Ranunculus bulbs in hollow bricks on my balcony. I hope they will flower my balcony with colours upcoming spring!
